Two Inclusive Entrepreneur Fellows, Siddharth Pannir (’22 cohort) and Ackeem Evans (’23 cohort), have recently been recognized for their work. Siddharth’s company, GenH, is a semifinalist for the Milken-Motsepe Prize in Green Energy – his company’s innovation  is a rapidly deployable modular hydropower system for use in Africa. Ackeem (and his company Election Bridge) is a finalist in the 2023 Eddies Cohort sponsored by the Massachusetts Innovation Network.

The Milken Institute and the Motsepe Foundation recently announced the 20 teams, including GenH, receiving semifinalist prizes for the Milken-Motsepe Prize in Green Energy. Responding to a global call for applications, the semifinalist teams represent 12 countries from around the world. These teams will have four months to demonstrate the effectiveness of their ideas in field tests anywhere in the world, with the goal of dramatically increasing access to reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity in Africa. GenH’s innovation is a rapidly deployable modular hydropower system. 

 Massachusetts Innovation Network has announced the finalists, including Election Bridge, for its 2023 signature innovation competition, The Eddies. Finalists will have the chance to participate in this 5-month, no-cost, no-equity innovation-boosting program that includes high-touch, tailor-made mentoring, connections to funding resources, and visibility opportunities. Election Bridge is a civic network platform empowering nonprofits to reshape their interaction with government and revolutionize member-driven civic engagement for greater community impact.
