One of the main events during Northeastern’s inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Week was NEXPO Fall 2023. Sponsored by IDEA, the university’s student-led venture accelerator, NEXPO featured venture spotlights, interactive workshops, and extensive networking opportunities. 2022 Inclusive Entrepreneur Fellow Colleen Hall was among 35 entrepreneurs discussing their ventures. Colleen is the founder of Jamoji® App, an emoji keyboard application of Jamaican cultural expressions, phrases, food, and places. Her recently published book, Jamoji—Essays of Life and Play, contextualizes the colorful emoticons of the Jamoji App (live in Apple and Google Play stores) and, as Colleen says, “shines a light on my relationship with Jamaica.” To visit Colleen’s website, click here.
